Where to even start...the riverfront apartments on the water are all section 8 so as someone else mentioned its a very seedy crowd of individuals. Not only is this building completely ridden with black mold. But theres a guy who drives a white jeep and lives on the river front whos sold multiple people drugs laced with fentanyl and they died. Period. In the time I lived there 4 or 5 people died of overdoses. One guy almost burnt the whole main building down(joe). Literally his entire apartment was engulfed in flames burnt up... read more

My unit started flooding. Thankfully they let me brake my lease and move when unable to fully resolve the issue. Only truly caring about money, they of course still felt it okay to fully charge me for rent during the two God awful months I had to deal with a flooding place while packing and repacking from wet boxes while also finding a new place. Real good caring people. * I also understand my unit flooded on the previous tenant before me and the one after me.
This is not a hotel, but a seedy collection of low rent apartments with the kind of tenants and landlord you'd expect for this type or property, what was once a great icon of the mchenry river area, is now the epicenter of the town's worst.
