The food was good the service was slow an under staff for a wedding that size
We saw Daddy D's on the 16th at the Riverside Ballroom. They had it all dressed up for Christmas and it was so pretty. The chicken and tips dinner was very good. I love the way they've kept their vintage atmosphere. The whole experience was wonderful.
I wouldn't host an event here. It appears dated. It was extremely HOT. I paid $2 for a 8oz. soda that was FLAT. The food was decent. The deserts lacked flavor. The chairs at the tables are very uncomfortable and hard. I attended a poker run party here about 10 years ago and was less than impressed. Now, attending the bingo for the humane society, I see nothing has changed.
Was a good time, because of the people I was with. Food was just so so. Not like I remember it used to be. Bingo was fun, even though it was slow. Did not win a thing. But it was not about us, it was about the animal shelter. Would I do it again next year? I do not think so. I will find a different way to donate $ to the animals
We chose this venue for our wedding reception 10/7/17. We knew the minute we saw the Crystal Ballroom that our Harry Potter themed wedding would fit perfectly. I'll admit to being a perfectionist but every time I called with questions or even stopped by to take measurements, I was treated with nothing but kindness.
