If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. If your goal is to set your hard-earned money on fire by purchasing a literal paperweight that doesn’t run, then congratulations—you’ve found the perfect place. DO NOT BUY. MISREPRESENTED VEHICLES, DECEPTIVE PRACTICES, AND CONTRACT MODIFICATIONS. My experience with Riverside Auto Sales has been one of the worst consumer experiences I have ever had. The 2001 Toyota 4Runner I purchased was misrepresented, and the financing contract was ultimately rescinded by Westlake Financial after issues were discovered involving the condition of the vehicle, a warranty that should not have been issued, and modifications made to the financing contract without my knowledge or authorization. BUYER BEWARE Purchased a 2018 Ford Explorer here in March 2024. We paid $2,300 upfront on our sales contract specifically for an extended warranty through Alpha Warranty. In May 2026, our car suffered a catastrophic internal water pump failure that ruined the engine. When we called Alpha Warranty to file the claim, they informed us the policy had been canceled because Riverside Auto pocketed our $2,300 premium and never sent the funds to activate it.
Riverside Auto was a pleasure to work with. They made the vehicle buying process simple and stress-free, and they had a great selection of vehicles to choose from. Anthony and Alex were both courteous, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout the process. They helped one of my customers get into a new work van that he’s very happy with, and their communication and customer service were excellent from start to finish. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle.
