Fiji is the best salescat, evah! Always ready for demo testing and review of purchases for my kitties back in Boston and nephew-kitty in Austin. Rivers and Reefs is always part of my annual February jump-start-on-spring visit.
Loving my baby conure from Rivers and Reefs. She was hand raised and not released until fully weaned. She's a delight!
James, the owner, picks all his brands and breeds with conviction. He really knows the pet biz and goes to great lengths to keep his customers and his own animals in the best care. For instance, he won't stock toys he knows are hazardous, even if they are popular. Rachel is almost always there and so helpful with general info. If she doesn't know, she'll point you in the right direction. They really care about everyone's animals. You can't beat that.
Always helpful, they have top brands and have a program where you buy 5 get one free. I like giving my money to a small business owner - sick of getting ripped off by PetSmart and PetCo.
Rachel really knows it she's talking about when it comes to pet food!
Never failed to meet my expectations during the 10+ years I've known about the store. Great tips and advice as well as being friendly.
