We had a wonderful experience when my Dad lived at Rivers of Life. He came there after being discharged from the hospital. He wanted to go home and was upset about the move, his hair was messy from lying in a hospital bed, and he was unshaven. The moment he arrived the staff made him feel so welcome. They cleaned him up, cut his hair and shaved him; when I visited him later that day I didn’t even recognize him!
