Yesterday I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted by Carlos & dental team member Heather(?) I hope I got her name right because she was a sweetheart. My largest concern with the procedure was cost as I don't have any insurance at all, but $1,200 for the removal of all wisdom teeth + under general anesthesia??? That's outstanding. I went to get a tooth extracted today and as much as I don't enjoy the dentist it was really a pleasant experience. The staff is super friendly and Dr. Rivero is the Michael Jordan of Dentistry. He is super competent, listens to his patients, is not rushed and makes sure that you are totally comfortable and does everything to make it as pain free as possible. You can tell he is really invested in his patients and is really good at what he does.
I wish I could have had Dr. Rivero as a dentist when I was a child. I would have probably visited the dentist much more growing up. Yesterday I went into his office for an extraction. Not only is he quick, his staff is great. Total time in his office was approx 25 minutes. Most of that time came from the numbing agent kicking in. In the past, I've had to clear out entire blocks of work time for things as simple as a cleaning.
