Bad policy/customer service/unwelcoming. I found the bank policy of denial of service to non-members off-putting. Their company slogan is "with us you can". Clearly not the case, other banks are generally more friendly and willing to help even if you are not a member. It would be nice if they were more inclusive. I will not become a member because of the banks unwelcoming policy as well as warn others.
I’ve been a member for 13 years for a reason; Rivermark has always been amazing to deal with. I can move my money freely between accounts without fees or charges, and the staff has always been incredibly helpful. I recently had to deal with pursuing a chargeback for $1,200 on my debit card, something I was told by other people would be impossible. Rivermark fought for me and I got my money back. I’m only knocking a star off because they outsource their fraud detection overseas, which can be cumbersome to deal with.
It's a nice CU but I don't bank there. I went with friends. The people there are nice and friendly. I don't know what it's like on the daily but whenever we went it was not to busy. And it's only 15min from WILSONVILLE and there's a beautiful lake with restaurants and shops there.
Had some business at this branch that luckily only included two visits. The staff here are not friendly or helpful and borderline rude. The shocking difference is we recently had the chance to go into Unitus credit union just the same week and they were the exact opposite. They were friendly, greeted us, made sure to help in every way possible and made our visit smooth and hassle free. I am so happy that my business with Rivermark is done so I don’t have to go back. If I ever need a credit union it will be Unitus!
