Highly overrated and overpriced. Ordered fried scallops---too much batter--probably just out of the freezer and dumped in deep fryer. $22 for 7 scallops, baked potato and side salad. Go a few more miles and eat in JohnsonCity.
I ate there yesterday for the first time, had the captain's platter and it was delicious. I had wanted to try it for a long time and I'm glad I did. I will definitely go back!

Had the trout almandine. Delicious and fresh, hush puppies were crisp and hearty. Wonderful dinner with colleagues by the river.
It's been about a year since we've eaten at Riverfront, love the atmosphere but the menu was not appealing to us much anymore. Was very impressed with the changes to the menu with a wide variety of new items now available. Make sure you save room for the bread pudding it's out of this world. You are now back on our top restaurants to eat at in Kingsport.
Flavor was good but almost $20 for a tiny piece of cod, slaw 2 hush puppies and drink. Not as good as the large portion at Captain D's for $4.99 and I get 2 sides and hush puppies! And they have quit serving their famous fish shaped cornbread! Very disappointing to say the least.
