i was looking into renting at riverfront , but after reading the reviews i changed my mind...i had to deal with rude , brain dead management before at college town , all talk , they are also owned by dtn. thankyou for your input , you save me form making a mistake . hey riverfront you just lost a customer , ill spread the word to other potential renters!
I use to live at Riverfront and the Management there treat you like idiots. When you walk in the office the woman that wears the wig is very rude. Stay away If you want a better lifealso beware of some of the maintanance people. A lot of the homeless sneak in at night and sleep in the stairways. If you are a decent person stay away!!!!!
RIVERFRONT HAS NO SECURITY WHAT SO EVER, THEY USE TO OFFER A SECURITY CHANNEL FOR THE BUILDING FOR A FEW MONTHS AND NOW THATS EVEN GONE. THE OFFICE RECIEVES FREE GIFTS FROM THERE OWN NOSY INFORMANTS, AND THE MANAGEMENT IS A JOKE, THEY ARE RUDE AND WILL NOT PAY ATTENTION TO NO RESIDENT. THEY ONLY CARE THAT THE RENT IS PAID!!!!! Been here for over a year. The maintenance staff is average, the office staff...less to be desired. Office staff : Rude, belittleing, dishonest, liars. Many ethical and legal issues are covered up so First Housing Corp. doesnt catch wind of mishaps.One question I asked BEFORE moving here, "Will I be able to see the fireworks on the 4th of July from my balconey?" I asked this question to SEVERAL staff members...all replied, "Oh yea, its awesome". ALL LIES. I have to go outside and around the building to see any fireworks. But... read more
I have lived at Riverfront for 5 years and have not had any issues with management they have alway been very helpful when I need them. Maintenance staff is alway friendly and the work I have requested done in my apartment has be done shortly after I call in to the office. What I enjoy the most is the riverwalk and the activities that are located downtown close by. Its a beautiful property.
I spoke to Riverfront leasing agent who was extremely unhelpful and acted like I was the inconvenience. After reading all of these bad reviews I have come to the conclusion that this must be the same staff that have been in charge for years. This prompted me to find out who their boss is. I found out that DTN Management @ 517.371.5300 is now Owners and the management of these lovely ladies. leasing agent rude to me over the phone. would not recomend. not helpful at all seem very short and not wanting to be of any help.
Absolutely atrocious. It looks like a nice place to live, but these people are extortion artists. After my lease expired, they sent me a letter saying they were keeping my security deposit and that I owed them more \$\$ for "unpaid bills" for months AFTER I left. Funny thing, but I had my gas turned off and my electricity transferred back to them. Unbelievable. I wish i had chosen capital commons in the end for sure. The manager in charge is just plain rude. This place is a joke. Ive had similiar problems to the ones already stated. The people giving good reviews are full of it. Yes, there are drunks and crack heads everywhere. Maybe if they put a gate at the entrance and a fence around the property it would fix some of the issues. Also, in the morning I have seen broken glass and cars with windows smashed in from bums and thiefs breaking into cars. I lived there for 2 years and have seen evidence of at least 15 cars broken into.
