It is perfectly choreographed. The bush/river pilot demonstration, dog sled running, fish smoking, and other activities start and finish on cue. The narration is engaging, informative, and fun. The village visit is educational and pleasant. The boat ride itself is very comfortable, thanks to the skillful crew. Very highly recommend this uplifting experience!

I knew a cruise would be a fun family outing, but the Riverboat Discovery far exceeded all expectations! Entertaining, but also great information about Fairbanks past and present. Highly recommend!
Great way to spend a few hours in Fairbanks. Friendly staff, nice river ride, great views. The family style lunch at the end was the perfect way to end it as well.
Enjoyable experience. Very well organized. Friendly staff. Good gift shop selection and prices. Love the free Doughnuts and the family style lunch buffet. Very tasty stuff!
RecommendedThe staff is very friendly and helpful, I am in a wheelchair and truly appreciated being loaded on the Discovery first. It is a wonderful ride with a stop at a sled-dog yard. They also have a wonderful gift shop. They have other services as well.
