Our dog was having what appeared to be a significant allergic reaction. We waited three hours and were grateful Riverbend was able to see her the same day, but unfortunately, the care she received left us extremely frustrated. The vet classified her condition as a minor allergic reaction and advised us to give her 25 mg of Benadryl three times daily. Everyone here is so kind, caring, very knowledgeable and compassionate. It feels a lot different than other urgent) emergency care vets I've been to, it felt very calm even with urgent needs coming in. They are patient, and very detailed and thorough and found what was wrong with my cat that other emergency places did not. Unfortunately, my sweet old man turned out to have a large tumor and I had to make the decision to let him go 😿. We had the best experience at Riverbend! They got us in very last minute, everyone was so kind, knowledgeable and our dog who hates the vet loved Dr. Jenny Gorman.
Great experience! The front desk person (i feel bad, i don’t remember her name) was super awesome and friendly even though it was super busy. The Dr and staff were also very nice and definitely did a great job at easing my anxiety. I came in super anxious and left feeling like I had good answers. When they brought my dog back to me she was wagging her tail and super excited so I know they took good care of her in the back.
