Great place for vacation. Great for family and friends. Lot of things to do near by including Creed and Pagosa Springs. The owners are great people that make sure you have everything you need.
Very clean but it is a short hike to the river. Cable nor Wi-Fi worked but that was ok as we were there to spend time with each other. Very nice office personnel.
We had a private hot tub and it was Awesome !! We highly recommend a private hot tub overlooking the Rio Grande River !! Really Nice People, too !!
I just got back from a Sunday thru Friday stay at Riverbend. It was outstanding! I'm an old retired sailor (USN). I inspected the cabin closely, ...clean as new pen. The bed was probably more comfortable than my own bed at home. Don't bring anything to cook with, they have it all. Just bring your fly gear. You can fish either the South Fork river just at the bottom or the hill from your cabin or the Rio Grande river just a two mile 'beautiful drive' away. Awesome place!
Riverbend owners and staff are always very helpful and friendly! The cabin backs up to the Rio Grande river. You can sleep with the windows open and hear the river rushing by, so peaceful. You can walk out the door and catch fish all day. The place is central to any outdoor activity you desire. Hiking is amazing! This was our 3rd time to stay, we will be coming back!
Our second time to stay here, we have been coming to South Fork for many years. We liked it here before--so peaceful and beautiful. The new ownership and staff are more helpful and personable. Riverbend Resort will definitely be our families' "go to" place for years to come!!
We found the folks here to be friendly, helpful and accommodating. The river setting is beautiful, the drinking water of course is excellent! Thanks for being truly "dog friendly" and not merely "dog tolerant": Our Springer loved to be off-leash at the river when it wasn't crowded - his best vacation ever!
Jim and I had a much needed, very relaxing week in the Blue Spruce cabin. It's a great getaway right on the river and very peaceful. Owners and staff are very nice and gave us pointers on attractions nearby. Grounds and cabin were very clean. We'll definitely be back!
Wonderful to have the river so close to fish, climb the trails and some rock hounding. Smaller place but feels secluded and private. Will be coming be coming back and hopefully staying longer.
