Dr. Rivera is a great doctor and surgeon. His staff was kind and helpful. He took great care of me before, during, and after my gallbladder surgery. Highly recommend him
We truly cannot thank Dr. Rivera enough for the fantastic job he did performing my surgery. This was my third hernia operation, the first two were performed by a different surgeon. It is very unfortunate that I did not use Dr. Rivera from the beginning. Not only did he do a GREAT job, the surgery became extremely complicated due to the mesh from a prior surgery being entangled. After arriving at the ER with severe pain. A cat scan revealed it was my appendix. My surgery was scheduled with Dr. Julio Rivera. He very kindly explained the surgery and what to expect as well as reassuring me I was in good hands. I immediately felt calm. Upon being released I was told to call the Dr. a week later. Was told i couldnt do cash but upon arrival was told i had to use insurance and i was told wrong by 2 people. Was told they dont do procedures in the office id have to go to a hospital to remove a cyst/boil but yet i was placed in a procedure room. Barely looked at it. Felt like he didn't want to treat me and the visit was rehearsed. Very disappointed and makes me not trust doctors at all. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in how i was treated at this office.
Dr. Rivera was knowledgeable and caring. He fully explained my condition and the type of surgery I needed. He and his office were always available to take my questions. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Rivera has a special way of relating to patients in a professional yet kind manner. He performed some difficult gall bladder surgery on me recently. Some complications because of my age, but all went well. I would certainly recommend this doctor to all.
