Riverwalk was great for about a year but now, after being acquired by a company out of California(gag), things have been going downhill quick. Recently multiple bikes and possessions have been stolen from the "locked" garage and the response from the complex was "yeah sometimes things get stolen." Obviously, but there are ways to prevent theft like oh I don't know LOCKING THE DOORS or changing the access codes. I was essentially told that is an impossible challenge and wouldn't be successful. Riverwalk was tolerable during the first year, but it has since rapidly deteriorated. The amenities are virtually nonexistent, and while the location near downtown and the Greenbelt initially seemed appealing, the neighborhood is not the safest. Security is a major concern here. Our expensive scooter, along with other residents’ property, was stolen, and Riverwalk was unhelpful in addressing the situation. Good apartments if you like to be on the greenbelt and just outside of downtown. However, the cost of the apartment is not worth what you get out of it. There are minimal amenities and being able to talk with an on site manager is next to impossible because no one is ever in the office, even during office hours. For a 1 bedroom hallway with no updated utilities and charging over $1700, you genuinely are paying for the location versus quality.

River Walk Apartments is a great place to live! The apartments are beautiful inside and out with amazing views of the Boise River and mountains. Located right along the Greenbelt, I get to take advantage of relaxing by the river or getting a good workout on the path. The apartment complex has covered parking and even has an elevator! The staff have been great as well as the other tenants. I enjoy peace of mind combined with beauty. A great experience all around.
