River Valley Title Group of Rochester MN was super kind and accommodating of my needs, HOWEVER, their standard practice is to BY DEFAULT charge buyers for an "optional" $250 service they are selling. For me, this service appeared on my closing documents on the day of signing, meaning that I either had to buy the service or delay the closing of my house. This outrageous practice (which is obviously a form of coercion/stealing) should be stopped.
