RecommendedThe team is amazing! They make you feel like family and really listen to your concerns and what you want your birthing experience to be. They encourage you in every way and always have your best interest at heart.
All the staff are very nice and very respectful of your wishes. I had my first baby there and they were very good about answering any questions I had. I could not have imagined anything better. It is so much more personal than a standard hospital and they give you the space to do whatever you feel is best when you are in labor while still being very supportive. I highly recommend this place to anyone! :)
The whole experience was a highlight in my life. I have my little girl safe and sound, I felt safe, cared for, and confident, my husband felt comfortable there, and I was allowed to do everything I needed to to progress as comfortably and confidently as possible. Not once did I feel like just another patient, and the student midwives we're just as amazing as the midwives themselves. I can't thank them all enough for giving me the experience I had. My daughter has a truly amazing birth story.
I am so glad that my husband and I chose to birth here. I felt valued and respected at all of my appointments. I had a memorable water birth and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! The midwives are excellent and well informed! My family has received phenomenal care from the River Valley Birth Center.
I can’t say enough good about the birth center! From my first appointment at 8 weeks to the day my baby was born they were there for me, supporting me, encouraging me, and educating me! My husband was slightly skeptical about an out of hospital birth when we started this journey, but fell as in love with the center as I did! We plan to wait a bit before the next baby, but I am so excited to birth at the center again someday!
From prenatal care to birthing and beyond, I am so thankful for the River Valley Birth Center. If I could give them a hundred gold stars, I would in a second. If you're contemplating out-of-hospital birth, take a tour and meet their team. You'll feel right at home in the purple house.
I can't imagine a better place to have a baby. The midwife team there is fantastic, they feel like my family. I always felt so special for how much care they showed me, and their touching love for my baby. I can't recommend River Valley highly enough!
