If the kitchen staff had no problem sending this out, and the server had no problem serving it, then they should have no problem taking a review too. I was served a fried chicken sandwich with both buns burned nearly black. What was more disappointing was the lack of concern when I pointed it out, no apology and little interest from the server. We were here due to wife having a work event. There's not a lot of choices in the area. She had the fish and chips and said it was good, but the fries were too salty. She like the flavor of the fish and enjoyed the crispy batter. I had the pork chop, when I ordered it, the waitress said oh, great choice ($40) so I really had high expectations. Really beautiful restaurant in the Skamania Lodge. Gorgeous views. Had a huckleberry lemon drop and it was delicious. We ordered the teriyaki wings, meat pizza, and kids got chicken strips. The wings were very good, cooked well, and good teriyaki flavor. The pizza was just okay. I didn’t enjoy the flavor of the sauce and it was pretty soggy. Wouldn’t order again. Kids enjoyed their meals. Would try something else going back.
Our server Amanda was incredible. She moved at an elite pace, didn’t miss a single detail, and somehow anticipated our needs with almost uncanny accuracy. The level of focus and sustained energy she brings is seriously impressive. Truly unforgettable service, in the best way.
