We sell well adapted and native trees and shrubs for the Texas Hill Country wholesale and retail. We also sell to families by appointment. We grow and carry over 3000 trees at our rustic tree nursery, in sizes from 5 to 100 gallons. We carry live oak, red oak, chinkapin oak, monterrey oak, cedar elm, desert willows, vitex, loquats, olive, and redbud trees, as well as many others. We can connect you to local installation and delivery for a very reasonable price. We grow in patented Rootmaker grow bags for maximum root growth.

RecommendedWe ordered 2 Red Oak trees around Memorial Day. From start to finish Carlyn made it a very seemless process. She also sent pictures of the trees we would be receiving. Pictures always look better but they looked so healthy and green. The installer came out and was completed in less than 2 hours. Zach did a wonderful job and made it look so easy. My dad recommended this nursery to us because we desperately need 2 shade trees for the backyard. We absolutely love this hidden gem and the owner was so sweet! She walked around the entire nursery with us explaining what to look for & how to care for the trees (I highly suggest doing that before buying). We left happy campers and loved being able to support local!

Oh my goodness! My husband and I went to River Road Nursery yesterday to meet with Carlyn and I have to admit, I didn't want to leave! Carlyn was so friendly and helpful...the trees were so beautiful it was hard to decide...and it was after hours so the breeze was lovely and it just felt like the place I wanted the new trees for my "old home-place" to come from. This perfect nursery has to be the best kept secret in New Braunfels. Carlyn is wonderful and knowledgeable. We bought 3 beautiful live oaks from her. It is very obvious that all of the trees and bushes are very well taken care of and are grown with love.
