My wife and I did a kayaking tour of the Cumberland River in Nashville, TN and although we did enjoy the experience. We were a little bit uneasy at the fact that there were no tour guides joining us on the river. We kayaked 3+ miles as the only kayakers on the water with many large boats that were causing pretty high ripples in the water. Regardless of all that it WAS a nice experience we just wish there was someone there with us to explain some history as we rode through the river, etc.
Fun, easy kayak trip down down the Cumberland River from park to downtown. Our group paired off in two person sit-upon kayaks. There is a scavenger hunt of sites and riddles along the way. Our guides Megan and Xala were really helpful, and made our trip a great experience!
