We had a fabulous time with River Queen Voyages this past weekend. My mom was in town for Mother's Day weekend and we were looking for something fun to do. One can only eat so much. This was the perfect Sunday morning fun. Two of the three of us were first timers and so we did the shorter route and all said it was perfect. Who would have thought a float down the Cumberland into downtown would be so peaceful and easy. The river was tranquil, we hardly saw anyone else out and the voyage ended right downtown so we could explore after and keep our cars conveniently parked just across the bridge. A great idea for tourists and locals alike!

I love Love LOVE RQV. I've been a few different times now and each time has been great. The staff is wonderful! And the 8 mile ride is long enough to help you de-stress but isn't too long that it takes up your whole day. This is my new favorite thing to do on a day off.
We had an amazing afternoon on the Cumberland River today. I have nearly zero experience, but our guide told us everything we needed to know. The trip down the river was gorgeous and I felt at ease the entire time. Thank you RQV, I plan on doing this again very soon! :)
