A place specializing in cataracts that treats elderly patients abysmally! Go figure! I scheduled my surgery two months in advance. Both I and my ride tried to make certain the week before the scheduled surgery there were no additional issues we needed to know about, but I got no return call and my ride was told they couldn’t give her any information. Riverpoint Surgery Center is a well oiled machine; everyone gives great care. Dr Richheimer is an excellent Ophthalmologist, and nice person. I’m very happy with my cataract removals and new Panoptix Pro lenses. Highly recommend!
I had cataract surgery last July and everything was great. I was told before surgery what I would need to pay and it was several thousand dollars due to a lens insurance wouldn’t cover. At the end of the year I got a bill for around $200. When I called the billing person just said insurance didn’t cover that. They then turned me over for collection. I was not called to come in and get my mom when she was done with per procedure as I was told I would be; so, she was left in the waiting room for over half-an-hour until I came in thinking a complication happened. Not only was I told I would be called when she was done but she asked them to call me as well and they did not.
I recently had cataract removal at River Point Surgery Center in Lakewood, Colorado. My surgeon was Dr Richheimer and I believe he’s not only a genius and the best surgeon ever, he is also great with people and has you forgetting any anxiety you may have. I highly recommend Dr Richheimer and River Point Surgery Center LLC. I had my day after checkup with my eye doctor today, and he said my eye looked like it usually would look the week after surgery, instead of the day after surgery.
