Never fails to provide great service,perfect ambience and fabulous food and drink. An absolute go-to place no matter the time,event,or palates you bring. We get a lot of out of state visitors. It's definitely a go to .
Super pissed my wife and I took our first boat ride of the season and tried to dock at the river house to have some lunch. We didn't get to feet off the dock before we got yelled at saying we can't dock there to eat and we have to leave. I've never been so humiliated . Never going back.

RecommendedVery good seafood chowder and crab cakes. Nice brew selection in the down stairs tavern. It was quiet when we were there on a rainy cool early May Saturday. I'm sure they're mobbed on a sunny day ! Definitely worth a look when you're in Portsmouth!
