I came here for my birthday dinner. First time for all of us. Loved the ambience and of course the view of the river. The oysters were amazing. We went east coast 😉 I have to mention the cornbread they serve complimentary bc I’m not a cornbread fan really and it was the absolute best. Everyone’s food was great my only critic would be I was so excited to try octopus for the first time and although it wS good and I do recommend it was on the border of being too salty but I guess that’s better then being bland. My husband threw me a surprise 40th birthday party here and it was fabulous!! He said everyone at the restaurant was so wonderful to work with! Our 21 guests raved about the food and the service! No wine glass was ever empty!! Thank you River House for making my 40th birthday so special!

Setting was great. Great flavor in all the food we ordered but had some inconsistencies. Some bites of the octopus were tender and others very chewy. Food served luke warm. The grouper cheeks were amazing. Will give another chance.
