Could you explain the slow response and lackadaisical attitude of your EMS team last night? At about 6pm (Sat 4/2/16) an elderly gentleman living in Lake Wylie Woods Apartments fell down and needed emergency help from 911. You all were dispatched, but even though your station is right across the street from the apartments, the ambulance still took about 20-30 mins to get there. Specifically, the truck just sat at the stoplight, silent and with no lights on. They waited for the stoplight to turn green before crossing Hwy 49. ... read more
