Few people know how fortunate we are to have a community owned municipal utilities. Corporate utilities have shareholders who make the decisions and expect to see profits and dividends. We are the shareholders! We make the decisions. Our "profits" are lower rates!

This morning our city block lost electricity and RFMU had it back up and running within an hour. We are thankful and impressed with the quick response, especially on such a hot day.
Thanks RFMU for removing the tree branch off the power line and restoring power to our home. Less than 3 hours response!!
