This review is for RAFTING- not tubing Pros: 1.Customer service was great and our guides were very friendly and well educated on the Watauga river and outdoor activities 2. Porta-potty was clean and had hand sanitizer available 3. There is an option to jump off of a small cliff in the first 10 minutes of the trip Cons: 1.This is not located in Boone like the google profile states-we were given a Tennessee address AFTER purchasing non refundable tickets. We rafted the Watauga today with River and Earth and our guide Dave. We had the best time. We were all white water rafting newbies. We took our teenage sons and it was great. We loved the smaller group compared to the other competitors companies we saw rafting on the Watauga. Our guide was so knowledgeable on rafting and the area and was so enjoyable to spend an afternoon on the river with! We will definitely be back and tell family and friends this is the only company to use for the area!
14 of us from a nearby retreat center just spent the day tubing with River and Earth and we all agree it was one of the best days ever! Tristan and Grant met us together. They clearly love their jobs and genuinely went out of their way to make the day perfect. They helped each participant to find the right tube, provided paddles for some and recommended what to take along. We had a great time. Staff is very friendly and the trip is easy to set up. Family friendly. Everyone had a blast.
