A ++ Pete was amazing very well educated in geology of the mountains and this history of the area the river we did was the watuga river . It was great for people who haven't experienced rafting before and younger children . Cant say enough good things about these folks .
Our family had an unforgettable day with River and Earth! We spent two hours kayaking the beautiful South Fork of the New River near Todd, NC, with our children and grandchildren, and every one of us had an amazing time. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and incredibly organized. They made everything simple, from check-in to the shuttle, so we could just relax and enjoy the experience. Grant (the local owner) and his crew are top notch! Not only does he pay his workers well but he is out daily making sure everyone has an amazing day on the water. This level of day in day out dedication by a local Boone community member is why I love this company. A lot of the outfitters are no longer owned and operated by people from the area much less actually have the owner out inflating tubes and guiding trips with his son!
