The ambiance, location, food, and wine were excellent. We loved having a guided wine tasting with the small 2oz pours. The most exceptional aspect was our waiter Anthony. We really made the experience incredible with his guidance, good timing of service, and solid recommendations.
Highly recommend..okra, chix flatbread and ribeye was excellent. Bar was great as well…
This place is amazing, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Freeman is a great manager and always makes sure everything runs smoothly. He is professional, helpful, and treats everyone with respect. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the customers and the team. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place!
I came down to take my daughter to dinner for her 21st birthday. Everything from service to food was amazing! Our waiter gave great food and drink recommendations. The appetizer special was mussels in a creamy cajun sauce and I have to say it was the best dish I've had in a while. I woke up this morning thinking about that sauce! I will definitely be back.
Great food and excellent service! Madi, our waitress, was fantastic. The charcuterie board was very good, and the filet was phenomenal. The Iron + Sand Cabernet complemented the filet perfectly. Everything from the food to the service made for an outstanding experience. If you’re looking for a great dinner in Tuscaloosa, I highly recommend River.
