Dr Riutta has racked up many credentials online and appears to be a solid choice for your physical rehab needs. However, these credentials do not transfer over to his patient care. Be aware that if you choose Dr. Riutta, you will only be a name on a piece of paper. He will not treat you as an individual with unique needs and complications. He will regurgitate exercises that you can find online and refuse to give you referrals for actual therapy or equipment. I was referred to Dr. Riutta about 8 months ago for lifelong back issues. I see him at the Royal Oak office. His office staff are very nice and great to work with. Dr. Riutta is very knowledgeable, and answers all of my questions clearly in terms I can understand. He's got a great personality. I always look forward to my appointments with Dr. Riutta because it's like catching up with an old friend who also happens to be my doctor. I highly recommend him.
The BEST...Put me BACK together...NO surgery either!
