It was my first time visiting Ritzy Bee salon, I received a warm welcome. The salon is clean and well organized. The owner introduced herself to me as did my stylist Jackie. It was a good experience, and my stylist got me out of the salon on time.
My first time ever attending this shop. When I first walked in, I was greeted by the owner. She had created an atmosphere that was welcoming, friendly and while she was taking care of her clients. She made sure to be nice and friendly to me. Her establishment brought back memories of being with my mom when I was growing up and she was getting her hair done on the weekends. For my first visit, I had an 11 am appt. that was delayed due to overbooking. I selected the perm, even cut (short to begin with), conditioner, and emphasized that I liked curls and waves. The stylist was pressed for time when it came to cut, curls, and overall grooming - she rushed the curls which were widely gapped due to spacing, and curls were dry and not defined; strings of hair was sticking up with right side areas sticking out here and there. I travel for a living, and the hardest part is finding a good barber wherever i go. I got a recommendation to go here and see Derek by Dj Shadow. I felt welcome when I walked in! The ladies doing hair here are highly skilled professionals with beautiful personalities. Derek's had me walking out like the world is mine, so back up. If you are looking for a spot in the LA area, stop looking, you found it!
