I left this stay feeling disappointed because it lacked the level of hospitality I’ve come to expect from the Ritz-Carlton brand. Just the weekend before, I stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, where every interaction reflected genuine luxury and exceptional service. I had a free night from my Mariott Bonvoy. I had to attend a concert at the Spectrum Center. It was a perfect solo getaway. The hotel was very nice. The team did an amazing job of welcoming me and leaving personal notes for my arrival and even the staff left a sweet good night note. Everyone was professional and very kind. I enjoyed a few drinks at the 15th floor bar, before my concert. The bartender Jasmine was phenomenal. Great place to stay and enjoy the uptown Charlotte.

Valet parking was not the issue , the white kid at the front desk being a smart ass was. I paid the valet parking with a Navy Federal credit card. It showed approved. 2 minutes later the Asian kid behind the desk comes outside to me and my white friend and says I think there was an issue w the payment. We go in and the white boy says how they have several issues w that terminal and it's not declined, the payment just didn't go through. So we try it again and same thing. Shows approved. Yesterday was my first time visiting the spa at The Ritz Carlton Charlotte, and it was amazing! Thank you to Lorie, Myea, the manager Keisha and my aesthetician EJ! Their kindness & professionalism really stood out! I was able to truly unwind and relax from a stressful week. The 17 head shower was SO refreshing & the views of the city were breathtaking.
