They have horrible service in the pharmacy section. Also the store itself. I’ve been accused of stealing when I put the item back on the shelf for their lazy workers. I have the hardest time getting my meds no matter if it’s some simple amoxicillin or some special ear drops. No matter how many times I give them a try it’s always a hassle. I’ll end up driving back and forth from my house to rite aid amounting to the same time and gas as driving to Redding !
Well it's official. ..I will never do business with Rite Aid again. I pulled all of my prescriptions, as well as all my family members, several months ago, due to the incompetence of the pharmacy, which was a a big loss in revenue for the store. I still went there to shop, as I enjoy browsing the store and the employees on the sales floor are friendly and efficient. The pharmacy is slow there is always a big turnover and never have your meds on time.
This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with, they take forever and the pharmacist I believe his name is Kevin refused to fill my mom's prescription that she's been taking for 15+ years, because according to him the doctor shouldn't be giving her them. We have gone back to the Westwood location where they always fill her prescriptions. Also the same pharmacist told me my insurance wouldn't cover my medication, but they have any other time. I'm surprised they haven't had anybody die from their horrific service... I've run out of vital medications multiple times because they take over a week to fill prescriptions, and that's with me calling and showing up in person daily... Thank goodness I'm not on heart, stroke or seizure medications. I can only imagine the fear they have, wondering if they'll get their refills on time.
