To every ritchie brother site i'v been this is definitely the worst. Don't expect any help or a hand from these guys. All the other sites are very friendly and helpful though.
I was actually nervous going in here because of all the negative reviews I saw. But I wanted the piece of equipment they were selling and got it at a great deal so felt it was worth braving the yard. I don’t leave reviews but this particular ritchie brothers is horrible. They are very nasty to there customers more so the loader operators there lazy and very inconsiderate and if you need them to load something they cry and wine about it witch is funny because it’s there job to do so, if your a small business trying to get started this is not the place for you.
My First experience with Ritchie Bros. After winning several items on a Thursday, I made a $4,000 down payment the same day using their ACH option. It’s offered through their website and doesn’t charge a fee, so I used it in good faith. The next day I called the Lakepoint yard to confirm pickup details. They said I could come Monday, no appointment needed, and pay the balance in person. I drove two hours Monday morning. At the front desk, I paid the remaining balance by Visa. They haven't even sold my truck for me yet, and I'm giving them 5 stars. When I went there to drop off a truck for sale, I left my prescription sun glasses on a desk, and they FedEx them to me. Great bunch to work with.
