Bought a truck (freightliner Coronado) that all checked out in there yard 15km an hour. Paid for it got out on the highway and clunking and banging. Called auction right away (I thought was transmission) they told me to take it to a 3rd party shop for diagnosis. I did just that, was not the transmission but rather the rearend (7000 dollar estimate) so the shop emailed the bill to Ritchie. As many are stating here, the buyers fees have gotten completely out of hand. In Nov 2021 I purchased a $100,000 combine and paid $1500 in fees. Last month I purchased a $53,000 grain cart and paid $2570!! I also purchased a tractor for $116,000 and paid $3638 in buyers fees!! I know the responses have been: "we are trying to keep up with inflation and are investing in our infrastructure, however raising your fees by more than 200% in 2.5 years does not reflect this. Sad service drove 3.5 hours made it with 15 minutes to spare just had to look at a tractor real quick 3:50 rolls around after being there for 2 minutes and got kicked out of the yard when they close at 4pm. It would have taken 5 minutes to look. Wasted trip as well as yard staff were very ignorant. Will not be supporting RB anymore.
