Won an item in the timed auction. Lot 5097, paid them and got the release. They loaded it, I rushed to strap down and exit the yard. Once home I discovered that the door was locked. No keys provided with my receipt. Then I noticed the item number decal was tampered with. Top decal Lot 5097, partially exposed under it 5096 ? Tried calling to check for keys. I recently purchased a vehicle from the Ritchie Bros. October 21, 2025 auction and had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever encountered with any business. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I discovered a major mice infestation inside — droppings and nesting materials all over the seats and carpet, creating a clear biohazard and health risk.
