AVOID New management came in and over 2 years raised rent nearly 40%. They charge late fees that are in excess of what MN state allows. We had a portion of our security deposit withheld and had to sue in court to try and recover what was illegally withheld. In addition the building has had 0 updates to make it worth the extra money that they decided to charge.

These apartments are going down hill quickly. The landlord is all talk but does nothing in the tenants interest. He only care about upping rent but hires third rate people to fix any issues to save himself money. Roofing has plastic patches which fixes nothing. Also, he lives over an hour away so he has now immediate response team. This building will be condemned in a matter of time. If you do argue with him, he starts to sweat like a high schooler.

I’ve seen a lot go on over the last two years living in this apartment. From gunshots early in the morning to a roach infestation that was left untended by old management. It’s been a crazy ride. HOWEVER!! Since Mike has taken over, things have been great. He is attentive and understanding and tries his best to get the building fixed up. Atwood Managment removed my photos of the flooded floor (10/2017). I will enclose some photos of the water damaged wall in their place. Pretty shady of Atwood. Management blows off tenants. The washing machines are constantly on the fritz from other tenants overloading them (when they run they make the whole complex smell of smoke and rotten eggs). Management will not do anything until the machine ceases to work then it becomes inoperable for weeks, and sometimes months. The foundation has a crack which causes basement apart... read more
