Best food of the trip! Love southern home cooking and this is just what I needed! The potato salad is the best I've ever had, and the fried shrimp are so fresh!
Loved eating here. Bread pudding, pralines, and peanut butter fudge was wonderful. Sweet waitress.
Stopped in on a whim. Ordered the fried chicken and it was so good made me wanna slap my mama. Tried the sweet potato pie and even though I don't like sweet potato pie it was surprisingly good! Don't go for the decor go for the fantastic food and great hospitality.

Great Soul Food, Simple Service, Bread Pudding is awesome when they don't run out. Been there so many times, will plan a motorcycle ride out there in the next few weeks. I will phone them ahead of time to let them know we are coming in and make sure there is some extra bread pudding.
Excellent! We stumbled upon a little gem here. Best lunch we had in Louisiana. Harry was a wonderful and fun waiter, and our gumbo and po boys were delicious. That bread pudding though... Heaven. Save room for it! And such hospitality.. We felt as if we spent a couple hours at someone's house. This was REAL Lousiana, and we loved it!
I've eaten here on a few different occasions & one thing is for sure....the food is consistently good! #soulfood #homecooking
Love this restaurant. It's like being invited to someone's home for dinner. They do sometimes have sporadic hours, but if you catch them "home" it's worth it.
