My brother became a patient of Dr. Jermyn approximately 7 years ago. At the time, he was in pretty bad shape and was literally just hanging on because of alcohol and substance abuse throughout his life. What I was impressed most about Dr. Jermyn was the genuine care and compassion she displayed towards my brother, despite his history. She treated him with dignity and respect, and yes she did scold him at times, but just as any good doctor would do with a patient who was killing himself.
