Born out of our love of fine wines and traditional food, Ristorante Saraceno has become the premier location for fine dining in Boston's historic North End. In Italy, food is so much more than just a meal -- it's a celebration of culture, of family, and of life itself. After traveling the Italian regions, sampling different cuisines, and experiencing this special celebration, we decided to make our way back home and bring Napoli's best to Boston. In true Italian fashion, love and passion go into every dish we serve, along wi... read more

Best Italian meal and seafood ever. – Wonderful restaurant with exceptional food and service. We were there on a Friday night. Stepped in without reservations and were seated immediately in the beautiful and romantic basement. We were not rushed at any time during our meal. Our server was fantastic and took care of every request quickly and carefully. The house wine was wonderful and affordable. This was our first visit to Ristorante Saraceno, but will most certainly not be our last. We would recommend this restaurant to any... read more
The Best of the Best – Been going there for 15 years. I have tried others but we always come back to this restaurant.
Great Food/ Great Service – My wife and I have been dining at Saraceno's at least once per year for about 17 years. In my opinion, it's one of the best values in the North End. The food and service is always right on the money.
It's the atmosphere, more than the classic Italian fare, that attracts diners to this charming North End spot. – The Scene While Saraceno's straightforward menu of familiar favorites doesn't throw anyone for a loop, the restaurant's interior--namely, the charming basement dining room--takes patrons by surprise. The street-level dining area, with its dim lighting and stained-glass accoutrements, falls in line with its North End brethren, but upon stepping downstairs diners are taken aback by the low, sky-blue arched ceiling a... read more
The Best – This is by far the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to.
I LOVE IT – I ATE AT THIS RETURANT FOR THE FIRST TIME LAST WEEK AND IT WAS WONDERFUL I HAD ASKED THAT MY SAUCE TO BE EXTRA SPICY AND IT WAS AND IT WAS WONDERFUL AND PEACEFUL I WILL DEFINATLEY DINE THERE AGAIN...
Yuck – I dont know what everyone is talking about. I had the worst dinner here.First of all, we had reservations and then we were taken passed all these rooms up about 100 stairs and sat in this weird room with vines all over it. The service was the worst. The bread was gross and when I asked for oil for my bread they looked at me like I was insane. The server didnt speak english well and our food was mediocre. I would never go back. There are so many better places to spend your money in the nort end.
Disappointing-and not for vegetarians! – I was very excited about going to this restaurant for our anniversary, but I was sorely disappointed. The waitress did not speak English well, and as a result did not get our order correct. We ordered the tomatoes & mozz, but were instead brought a simple tomato salad. She didn't understand vegetarianism: when asked what vegetables were avail. w/ the entree she was unable to offer the items separately. Heavily seafood laiden menu-OK if you are prepared for it. Bread: stale & cold, tas... read more
Details to fix but great food... – Ristorante Saracino is a great place to eat in the North End. Though small with separate eaqting areas, it is cozy and giives one a good feeling of being in an Italian restaurant as close as one can come to it outside of Italy. The food is very good and they will even make it to order if not seen on the menu. Wine is "pricey". Several details that a real Italian immediately notices: The bread is "Americonized" fake Italian bread (soft) instead of true Italian bread (harder/thick dough/crust... read more
