Absolutely love this place! This is seriously one of my favorite restaurants to go to. The owner never seems to forget a face. It could be weeks or months between my visits and he always seems to remember me. The food is by far the best Italian I've ever had. They make their Tiramisu each day from scratch and it is absolutely delicious! They change the decor with each holiday so it's (for example) decorated in orange and black for Halloween or full of reds, pinks and hearts around Valentine's Day. It's located in a bungalow, right next door to the Genovese law office! Family owned establishment; the owners are usually present. It's a complete zoo on the weekends, and quite a wait, so I recommend going on a weekend.

The food is good, just don't expect service and the owner doesn't care if you come back or not! – I recently found this spot, and loved it when I walked in. Has a super funky atmosphere, and old skool perfume in the ladies room. Made it a favorite, went 3 weeks in a row and brought new friends each time. Mediocre Italian food It has a romantic atmosphere. Nice place for special occasions. There's some interesting funny pictures against the wall. The food is ok, some selections could be better.
Great location...the best authentic Italian food! – I have been to Genovese a few times over the last year and every time I go in I get consistant service and amazing food. Al has owned this place for over 30 years, and he is always there! Sometimes he sings, sometimes passes out funky toys, but he is always friendly and looking for a quick chat. Great authentic Italian food If you are looking for a great little Italian restaurant, and happen to be in the Old Town Orange area, definitely stop by this little gem. Apparently this is an old local spot, and I believed it when I stepped through the door. One of my all time favs – Started going to this restaurant with my parents when I was 4, 16 years later it is still a favorite of ours. The owners and the waiters always recognize us and stop by to say hello. The food is simply fantastic. Marge's home made minestrone soup is the best ive ever had!
