What an incredible dining experience. From the moment we sat down at our table, the atmosphere felt perfect for a relaxing night out. The meal was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. I especially enjoyed the cocktail garnished with a fresh blackberry and a twist of lemon. It was a wonderful way to start the evening. Everything from the pasta to the bread basket was top-tier. I cannot wait to come back.
A trip to Denver and to The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs brought us to this restaurant in a stunningly beautiful setting surrounded by mountains, big trees and a lake. We walked in and sat out on the terrace looking over the lake and ordered a pasta dish and a swordfish dish. Complimentary bread was served first followed by our meals. The food was great, cooked and seasoned well, nothing to complain about. Overall a nice meal in a beautiful setting.
Nothing to write home about as food goes and very underwhelming of an atmosphere. There are better Italian restaurants in Colorado Springs if you're willing to leave the resort. I feel with a little bit of effort and revamping of Del Lago it could be a very good restaurant but unfortunately like the rest of the Broadmoor, it's just dated.
