DO NOT see this "doctor". I was under his care for about four years (due to insurances) and I would never recommend him to anyone. I have been dealing with a specific problem for a couple of years now and every time I bring it up to him he says it is low blood sugar and I need to eat more. Well guess what, I've been taking that advice since the day I told him about two years ago and it hasn't improved a bit. Dr. Riss is a lovely man. However, the office staff is horrible. I came in after a phone call checking to see if they accepted my insurance. The said yes. I also checked the reviews on the internet which also verified that my insurance is accepted. When I arrived they took my co-pay. They then sent me a bill for the full amount. They would not accept my insurance. I felt "duped" to say the least. Why accept my co-pay if they are not in network. This is a devious way to get full price for a dr. visit. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. Their staff is very friendly and professional. They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. They were was minimal wait time when I showed up for my appointments, they run nearly "on time".
