Just go for Verve, ignore the fake 5 stars, Rise is the worst apartment possible. There’s non existent noice isolation so if you are next to a loud neighbor/roommate, good luck getting any sleep at all before morning exams. There’s always random security people barging into your room with SHOES ON using their universal keys. The water pipers are so old, sink & shower will literally turn orange within a week of cleaning them. This property is severely overpriced for the conditions residents are expected to tolerate. The building has experienced major flooding, and some individual units have also been flooded. Water intrusion on this scale can create serious health and safety concerns, including persistent moisture, foul odors, structural damage, and the risk of mold growth. Would give 0/5 — DO NOT LIVE HERE I lived at Rise on Chauncey for TWO YEARS, paying over $1,600/month, and I have never felt so unwelcome in my own home. Once you sign your lease, you stop being a priority. They care far more about getting new leases than taking care of current residents. Some examples of the “luxury” experience: • ELEVATORS: There are 4 elevators for a 16-story building. Rise on Chauncey should not be a consideration for anybody trying to find a place to live in the area. It is quite literally a money grab. It tries to lure you in by looking clean and comfortable, but after living there you realize that the owners do not care about the building or it's residents. As a parent of a resident, I would not recommend this apartment complex to other families looking for housing for their college student. Over the past several months, there have been ongoing issues with the property that have not been resolved despite repeated assurances from RISE that they would be fixed "as soon as possible." Multiple elevators have been out of service, including periods when all were unavailable.
