Diagnosed with autism at an early age, our daughter finds it difficult to understand how to navigate daily life. She has had challenges everywhere, from understanding how to brush her teeth to connecting with peers. She's now 14 years old, so as we attempted to find ABA services, there were no options in Bloomington; we were told that she's too old to be served.
