Simply wonderful and absolutely fantastic! I was in need of some serious self care so I did an hour saltwater float, then an hour of sauna with Jacuzzi tub, then an hour massage (from the amazing Jessica). The ambience is warm, peaceful and relaxing. The experience was nothing less than completely replenishing!
What a great spa to have so local and clean and beautifully designed! The vibe is so nice, facilities so clean, sauna and tub so hot and COLD PLUNGE SO SO COLD AND INVIGORATING! We felt so amazing afterwards, we kept talking about it for hours after, we can't wait to return!
During our weekend stay in fort bragg, we came to Rise and Be Well twice. The first time we went to a morning yoga class with a new instructor, Kim, who was absolutely amazing. Both me and my partner are beginners and she was incredibly helpful. We also booked reserved one of the hot tub spa rooms for an hour, which I somehow managed to reserve for the wrong date/times *twice*. I have been to this place 2 other times, both times spending over $400 a day. The last appointment i made was with a gift certificate. I booked my appointment, let them know it was a gift certificate. I came to my appointment and they charged me and extra $30 due to change in prices from a year ago. I think they need to honor their prices on the gift certificates. I was shown to my room that they were using as a storage room. I just experienced my first float and while it did take me a while to get settled in after being playful (a kid in the ocean, playing with the space) I can say it was the most amazing and profound relaxation technique I’ve ever tried. It’s hard to describe but if you’ve ever used a truly heavy weighted blanket, now imagine it under you and supporting you. The stillness and ease of deep breath work astounds.
