I really wanted to give this a higher rating but the food was just average. The brisket was cooked well but was not especially flavorful. I didn't like either of the barbecue sauces, which is unusual for me. The fried okra was the best side we got. The pinto beans were bland and a little undercooked. The banana pudding had an excellent flavor but there were zero banana slices in it.
I'm 66 and I've been eating at Riscky's since I was in elementary school. I'll keep going as long as I can.
I've had brisket in a lot of places, but this is the best, just driving through from Oklahoma and I always have to stop at Riskys!!
