I was quoted $3,500 without insurance, but somehow $5,000 with insurance. That alone didn’t make sense. When I asked for clarification and a proper breakdown, I never received one. I am married and have joint insurance coverage, yet the front office did not properly run my married insurance plan. Instead, I was repeatedly told that I “aged out at 26,” which is irrelevant when you are legally married and covered under a spouse’s policy. They are very good with prices and customer service is great in office. But when the offices say they close at 8PM and you call at 4pm to talk to someone about your account, they NEVER answer the phone. I have been waiting on the phone for over 25mins. This is so uncalled for when I am paying money to Risas to make sure my teeth are good.

My experiences at Risas Dental and Braces on McDowell have been consistently unacceptable, unprofessional, and deeply concerning from both a patient-care and clinical operations standpoint. I have been coming to this office for over three years with my daughter, and throughout that time the problems have been ongoing and unresolved.
