This was a first time visit and Dr. Risam had a wonderful bedside manner. I felt completely comfortable with her.
Have been going to Dr. Risam for 34 years. She delivered my second child in 1989 and I have had a checkup with her every year since then. She is great.

She is one of the best GYN I have had in 50 year, she explained everything she's doing any talk to so that you understand what she is saying.
Dr. Risam is a great OB/OBGYN she is very knowledgeable and address any concern you have. She delivered my daughter and will be delivering my new baby 2021. I would recommend her to anyone seeking an OBGYN.
She is very professional, warm, and courteous. She answers all of my questions with pleasure and knowledge. She meets with you afterward in a relaxed but professional manner. Great bedside manner.

I have a relevant family history of estrogen based cancers. After losing my fifth family member to cancer, my father's own oncologist strongly recommended that I speak with my doctor about BRCA1 testing. I did as he suggested and had a conversation with Dr. Risam about my familiy's medical history. She brushed off my concerns by stating, "One actress get it done [Algelena Jolie] and now everyone wants it. It's a fad. You don't need it. And what are you going to do if you carry it anyway?"
I have been going to Dr. Risam for 23 years and she delivered both of my children. She is courteous, professional, skilled and thorough in both obstetrics and gynecology. I have recommended her to plenty of my friends and they have shared similar experiences.
