What a gorgeous place to spend a romantic evening! As the name suggests, Rips on the Lake is a lake facing restaurant that has a gorgeous patio. While away your time as you sit here and sip on a glass of wine. The service is excellent and the staff will in no way hurry you out. The seafood here is fresh and cooked just right. The restaurant is known to serve the best oysters and shrimps. Try out the Shrimp Stuffed Baked Potato.

We were so excited to go out to eat tonight but unfortunately we did not have a good experience at all! Do not go unless you have a reservation inside! They are not equipped to have people seated outside especially in the evening! We asked if the outside fans could be turned on and we were answered with half of them don’t work. RecommendedI've always loved Rips, but last night they hit it out of the park with the red snapper in a meniere sauce. My husband said the key lime pie is the best he's ever had. The filet was huge and the shrimp on top were so fresh. I don't know that I could get any fresher seafood at a restaurant. The view is the best on the Northshore. Even though we ate outside on a warm day, fans were going and there was a breeze off the lake! AMAZING MEAL and impeccable service!

Owner is a horrid of a man. The video of him harrassing and mistreating guests reminds me of the Jim Cro era and shows what this establishment is all about.
The owner is an a-hole. The Food is not worth how he treats people.
