An Old Standby – Rino's is the type of place that is often overlooked with all the new and glitzy restaurants popping up, in particular Italian. Don't neglect this place just because the papers don't review the older established restaurants. Longevity means that they must know something about doing things right. Rino has great waiter and waitresses and is always around to great and chat with his "guests". A very reliable and gracious place. It is likely that press is not necessary, the place still fills up.

Watch your date! Rino's is a decent little haunt on the east bench but for me, has been hit or miss. Some plates are quite memorable--like the ravioli and gnocchi specials--but other main entrees (lasagne, pasta dishes) are somewhat bland and uneventful. Nothing really shouts out to be eaten with vigor. Which is in total contrast to Rino, the owner, who is quite the ladies man with his robust Italian flair. Dudes best keep an eye on their ladies when Rino comes in the room because if they aren't nailed down to their seat he ... read more

Italian Ambiance – I would say that thou this place is small you are promptly served and much attention is given to the look of the food and your comfort.

Traditional Italian fare in a homey atmosphere. – The Scene The atmosphere is charming; sit on the patio and reach right up to pick grapes from the arbor above your head, or sit inside and enjoy music and the stained glass, art and antiques that decorate the interior. The food here is especially tasty during the late summer and fall, when the owner uses fruits and vegetables from his garden in Bountiful. The Food There's a great fresh veggie appetizer tray and a dish that consists of a sweet, ripe melon wrapped in prosciutto... read more

Our favorite place to celebrate – Without question, Rino's is our favorite Italian restaurant. Just don't fear the exterior (it looks very dated). The interior is charming and the patio is covered with beautiful grape vines on a trellis. When it comes to impressing friends from out of town who think that Utah-food universally tastes like and has the presentation of "food" found at Chuck-A-Whatever, this is a great place to show them what Utah can offer.

randalion – This is one of the best places to eat in the state of Utah. It is both mine and my husband's favorite. We love the food, the ambience- everything! Rino always comes out to make sure that we are doing well. Make sure not to leave without tasting the bread pudding!! It is the best I have ever had!

Best Italian in Salt Lake – My family and I have been going to Rino's for over 20 years. The food is always fresh and extremely tasty. Rino and his staff always remember us and offer the best service in town. Don't miss out on the fabulous wine list and yummy desserts as well.

Worth every penny! – Rino's has good service and excellent food. The chicken Parmigiana was excellent, and the portion size was perfect for a hardy appetite. Although I am not a huge fan of gnocchi, the sauce was exceptional.....I would love to have the recipe. The ambience was relaxed, and I would highly recommend taking a date.
