I have found Dr Engel to be kind, patient and always anxious to help me as much as possible. His care and treatment of me and my rheumatoid arthritis have made the last 15 years almost pain free. I am so grateful to him and am devastated he is having to retire.

I was charged $300 for a 5minute consultation with Sam Engel and only given a referral for a scan I had already had. I couldn't even explain my problem in full detail as he rushed me and interrupted me. Wasn't told what my problem was or could be, no help at all. I will never see this man again and think he is a criminal for charging that amount for 5minites of his time.

A 10 minute appointment in which he didn't question or test which joints are hurting, pressed gently on a few points of my body that are not affected, asked if I have trouble sleeping (I have narcolepsy and had already told him so) and diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia. When I said I wanted to look into EDS he told me I didn't have EDS because I wasn't deformed, but if I wanted to look into it I'd have to speak to a geneticist not him. $300 for a complete waste of my time.
