Love McMenamins in general. After a show I was very excited to spend some time in the Annex bar. I walked inside and ordered a beer at the bar and the staff was very nice. I finished my beer and ordered another along with a pizza. I started to make conversation with some other guests (they were enjoying our converstion) who were also at the same show and interested in the same music that I liked. Mcmenamins is Mcmenamins. Very cool atmosphere, good beers and very mediocre food. The service is good, if you're lucky. The pinball machines here suck because most of them have the sound shut off. And it's extra special playing near the stinky bathrooms 😐
